Description
This house, located approximately 260 metres northeast of Danemoor Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century and later. It features a timber frame that is faced with modern brick, while the rear is rendered. The main block has a thatched roof, with the rest covered in pantiles. The building has a lobby entrance type plan, and the upper storey of the western section has been reduced. The main block is two storeys high with an attic and includes five 2-light cast iron casement windows with small lights. There are two modern doors, one positioned in its original location opposite the stack. The house also has single dormers at the front and rear, each with 3-light casement windows, and gable-end stacks, with the western stack having been formerly axial. At the rear, there is a lean-to, and the western section is one and a half storeys tall, featuring a single 3-light casement window on each side of a modern door. Additionally, a recently exposed 5-light diamond mullion window can be seen at the rear.
