Description

Field Cottage is a derelict farmhouse, likely dating from the 16th century and later. It features a rendered timber frame and a roof made of thatch and corrugated iron. The building is one and a half storeys tall, with a narrower end bay. The facade includes two 3-light windows with metal casements and two boarded doors. On the first floor, there are similar 2-light windows, one of which has leaded glazing. The cottage has one axial stack, which was formerly at the gable end, and a later gable-end stack.
