Description

Nuns Bridge Central is an early 19th-century road bridge located over the river at Thetford. It is constructed of gault brick and features a single semi-circular arch. The bridge has splayed rebuilt brick parapets. It is one of three bridges situated at a historic crossing point of the Icknield Way, which has been in use since around 3000 BC.
