Description

Besthorpe War Memorial is situated in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints on Bunwell Road in Besthorpe, Norfolk. The memorial features a stone wheel-head cross that rests on a tapering plinth, which is supported by a two-stepped square-section base. The plinth includes an inscription in incised lettering, although it is somewhat difficult to read.

The inscription states: "TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE BRAVE MEN OF BESTHORPE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1918 (NAMES)."
