Description
Willow Tree Cottage is a mid-17th century cottage that features a timber frame with rendered wattle and daub infill set on a brick plinth, topped with a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with a dormer attic. The entrance door is located to the right of the center, and there are two 19th-century casement windows. The gabled roof includes two eyebrow dormers, which also have 19th-century casements. A central ridge stack is present, and to the right, there is a one-storey outshut with a pantiled roof and an internal gable stack on the left. The timber frame is constructed of thin scantling, featuring tongue-stopped bridging beams and a rebuilt fireplace. The roof structure consists of collars and clasped purlins.
