Description
Church House is a building that originally served as a hall house, dating back to the 16th century. It features a timber frame with roughcast wattle and daub infill and has a pantiled roof. The structure is two storeys high and includes two early 20th-century gabled porches. The ground floor has three casement windows from the 19th or 20th century, while the first floor has four windows of a similar age. The gabled roof has a rebuilt ridge stack located to the right of the center, and an external 18th-century west gable stack was enlarged in 1852. At the rear, there are 19th-century clay lump utility ranges on both the right and left sides, featuring one early 18th-century casement window and the rest being 20th-century windows. Inside, there are arched service doors to the west of the passage, although the north door is blocked. The interior has been much altered over time.
