Description

The Limes is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and has a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. A central open arched porch from the late 19th century is a notable feature. All the windows are original sashes with glazing bars, set within timber surrounds and topped by gauged skewback arches. The brick eaves cornice is designed in the form of a Doric Order frieze. The roof is hipped and features two symmetrical stacks. The returns of the building are similar, with windows that are set under segmental arches.
