Description
The former coach house at The White House is an early 19th-century building that has been converted into an office. It features a clapboarded timber frame and a pantile roof, with a simple rectangular plan consisting of two bays, one of which includes a first floor and an attic level.
On the exterior, there are three late 20th-century windows in the gable end, a cart entrance in one bay on the south side, and a three-light former dovecote with a ledge in the south-west bay. Inside, the timber frame is constructed with light scantling, tension braces, and knuckle braces supporting the tie beam. The building has group value with The White House.
