Adams Cottage is a mid-17th century cottage that features a timber-framed and plastered structure topped with a thatched roof. It is a single-storey building with a four-unit plan. On the right side, there is a red brick ridge stack. The cottage has two horizontal sliding sash windows on either side of a boarded door. Inside, the exposed timber-frame includes some reused timbers and straight braces. There is one heated room to the right of the center, which has an open hearth and a shaped head to a small niche. The roof is ceiled.
