Description

Holland's Hall is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century and later. It is constructed of brick featuring a black header diaper pattern and has a pantile roof. The building has two storeys with an attic and includes a central two-storey porch. This porch is notable for its elaborately moulded brick three-centred arch supported by semicircular responds with polygonal capitals, and the spandrels are formed by a rectangular hood mould. The corners of the porch have truncated polygonal angle shafts.

On the first floor, there is an 18th-century two-light mullion and transom window, along with a crow-stepped gable. The original window openings have chamfered reveals. To the right of the porch, there are four 18th-century three-light mullion and transom windows featuring metal casements and leaded glazing. To the left of the porch, there is one original three-light chamfered mullion window at first floor level, an 18th-century two-light casement window, a 19th-century four-light window, and a 20th-century ground floor window. The crow-stepped gables include one original gable-end stack with a pair of truncated angled shafts and moulded brick 'boules' at the interstices, as well as two axial stacks, with the central one likely dating to the 18th century.

The rear facade has several blocked windows, two 18th-century three-light windows, and three modern windows, along with some modern extensions. Inside, there are several roll-moulded bridging joists at the ground floor. The principal first floor rooms were originally open to a clasped purlin roof with wind bracing.
