Description
Holly Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features a chequered red brick front and a plain tile roof with end stacks, while the gable ends are roughcast. The building has two storeys and includes a floor band with a burnt header centre course, as well as brick dentil eaves. The windows are 19th-century glazing bar casements, with the ground floor windows having segmental heads; the left-hand window has a pegged oak frame. A porch was added around 1970. Inside, there are chamfered floor beams that may predate the front of the house.
