Description
Orchard House is a farmhouse and barn range dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red chequered brick and features a plain tile roof that is hipped at the south end. The building is single storey with attics and has a chimney stack with joined shafts located near the north end. The long west elevation includes five gabled wood-casement dormers, while the right end has recessed square casements. The north gable end is topped with brick coping and features a door with a cut bracketed hood and moulded pilasters. The east elevation has two casement dormers. At the left end, the barn has a high floor band and three recessed casements. There is a 19th-century centre projection that forms a T plan.
