Description
16 and 18 Cromer Hyde are former cottages dating from the mid-18th century, representing an early example of a semi-detached house. The building is constructed of red brick with burnt headers and features a steeply pitched plain tile roof with coped gable ends. It has internal end chimney stacks and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has three windows, while the ground floor has four segmental-headed openings, two of which were originally doors. The windows have been replaced with modern leaded casements. There is a modern central rear extension and modern timber lean-tos at each end.
