Description
Gosmoor, also known as Lemsford Boarding Kennels and Cattery, is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame that is plastered, and it has a steep plain tile roof with a large S-shaped gable end. The building is one storey high with attics and includes three modern leaded casement windows that have louvred shutters. There are two gabled eaves dormers and a catslide roof at the rear. On the north side, there is a parallel rear range that is likely from the 17th or 18th century, also timber framed, with a plastered north gable end, plain tiles, and a 20th-century front lean-to addition.
