Description
Belvedere Farm is a house, formerly a farmhouse, dating from the 16th century. It has a timber frame that originally consisted of three bays but has been reduced to two on the north side. An additional floor was inserted in the northern bay in the early 17th century. The building features roughcast above a painted brick base and is topped with a Welsh and Westmoreland slate roof. It has one storey with attics, two leaded casement windows, and leaded dormers. There is a 19th-century gabled porch that is latticed and weatherboarded. A small 17th-century window is located on the north gable end. Inside, the property has chamfer-stopped beams and some 18th-century woodwork.
