Description

This is a house, originally built as a lodge for Bedwell Park House. It dates to 1860, as indicated by a date stone on the south side, and is built in a Picturesque Gothic style. The house is two storeys high. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with a decorative pattern created using black bricks set in a diamond design. The windows have stone surrounds, with diamond-shaped leaded glass bars. The upper floor is clad in weatherboard and slightly juts out on the right-hand projection, supported by thin wooden brackets. The gables are small and feature decorative, pierced bargeboards. A three-light casement oriel window with a tile roof is located on the projection. The roof is tiled and features an external chimney stack on the south side, flanked by smaller gabled sections.
