Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now unoccupied, that dates from the 16th century or possibly earlier. It underwent alterations in the early 19th century and early 20th century, including an early 19th-century extension at the east end. The building features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a Welsh slate roof that replaced the original thatch, along with a central brick stack. It is 1 storey and has an attic with two wide bays. The east extension is stuccoed, has a Welsh slate roof, and is two storeys with one bay. On the left side, there is a later panelled and glazed door, and on the right, an early 19th-century three-light six-pane casement set within a timber frame. Further to the right, there is a boarded door with a similar three-light casement. The building has a slate band below the eaves and two flat-roofed dormers. The east extension on the far left features a 12-pane sash window on the first floor. The interior includes exposed beams on the ground floor and partition framing, while the roof timbers are boxed in.
