Description

This is an 18th and 19th century house located on the north side of Ayot Green. The house is constructed of red brick with distinctive vitrified headers and has a plain tile roof. It is two storeys high with a symmetrical facade originally featuring two windows, and now includes a modern one-window extension. The windows are 19th century casements with glazing bars, each with a flat brick lintel. A central doorway is surmounted by a pediment hood supported on shaped brackets. The building is listed for its group value.
