Description

This is an 1840s cottage, originally comprising a pair of dwellings. It is constructed of red brick with distinctive glazed headers, and has a low-pitched slate roof. The building is two storeys high. It features two recessed windows on each floor, each containing eight-pane sashes with slightly curved heads. Each end of the cottage has a Gothic-panelled and studded door. The door on the left is set within a triangular tiled arch, while the door on the right is set within a segmental brick arch. A central chimney stack rises above the roofline, topped with six pots.
