Description

Duck End Farm House is an 18th and 19th century house located on Duck End Lane, Wilstead. It is constructed of chequered red and vitrified brickwork, with red brick alterations and additions, and has clay tile roofs. The house has an L-shaped layout extending over two storeys. A variety of casement windows are present, with those on the ground floor placed under segmental arches. The south elevation features a later canted bay window to the left, a blocked doorway with a segmental head in the centre, and red brick integral stacks at each gable end. A dentil eaves cornice is also present. The west elevation has a blocked doorway and a 19th-century extension to the north. An east-facing two-storeyed lean-to addition has been incorporated.
