Description

Dove Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Duck End Lane in Wilstead. The building features a timber frame that is covered in colourwashed roughcast and has a shingled roof. It has a two-room plan and consists of one storey with attics. On the ground floor, there is one four-light and one two-light casement window, while the attic includes two gabled dormers, each with two-light casements. All the casements are fitted with glazing bars. To the right side of the cottage, there is a 20th-century gabled porch. An off-centre red brick ridge stack is present, and there is a single-storeyed lean-to addition at the rear.
