6/270 Pump about 10m NE of Potten's Farm House

GV II

Pump. Mid to late C19. Probably provided by owner of the White House (not listed). Cast iron with some stock brick at base. Large circular drum on end, about 2m in diameter. This casing has moulded tracery of interlocking circles and half-circles on each side. Crank handle turns large wheel with a small cog to a larger cog which engages a double piston pump.
