Description

Rooks Nest Farmhouse is a building dating to the 18th or early 19th century, likely with an earlier core. The front facade was refaced during this period. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled gabled roof. The north-facing entrance front has been whitewashed. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three flush sash windows with glazing bars, the central window being a two-light design. The property is mentioned in E.M. Forster’s novel 'Howards End'.
