Description
Nos 94 to 98 on High Street is a building that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, featuring a hall plan design. It has two-storey wings and a one-storey and attic central section. The ground floor is primarily made of brick, while the first floor is cement rendered and plastered, hiding the timber posts of the framework. The roof is old and tiled, with cross gables at either end, a large central gabled dormer, and an early chimneystack that has shaped bases and caps for three octagonal shafts. The ground floor includes two canted bay windows and a central shop window bay, while the first floor has two flush 19th-century sash windows.
