Description
Nos 56 to 62 Fleetgate is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall with attics, constructed of brick with a rendered ground floor. It features a pantile roof adorned with two sloped dormers and a wooden eaves cornice. The facade includes four windows with rendered lintels, lacking glazing bars, and a band at the cills. The ground floor showcases four narrow canted bays, also without glazing bars. There are two doorways flanked by attached columns and an entablature, with panelled reveals. The doors are six-panel designs beneath rectangular fanlights. Additionally, there is a central passage archway with panelled reveals and a blocked rectangular fanlight, along with a small plinth. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 46 to 64 Fleetgate and the White Swan Hotel.
