Description
Pre Mill House is a house built around 1800. It is a square-plan building made of red brick and features a plain tile hipped roof with dentilled brick eaves. The house has two storeys and attics. The front elevation faces east and includes three flush sash windows with cambered gauged brick lintels, where the outer sashes are triple hung. There is an impressive central doorcase adorned with fluted Corinthian pilasters, a pulvinated bay leaf frieze, and a dentilled pediment, along with a scroll-patterned fanlight. Access is provided by four stone steps with a foot scraper. The house also has two original box dormers that feature square leaded casements. A contemporary single-storey service wing is located on the southeast side.
