Description
West End Farmhouse and the granary adjoining North End is a farmhouse with origins dating back to the late 17th century at the rear and an early 19th-century gable-ended front range. It is constructed of red brick with a plastered front and features a plain tile roof, forming an L shape over two storeys. The front elevation includes three recessed sash windows, with the ground floor windows having cambered heads. There is a six-panel door topped by a three-light fan, and the eaves are adorned with dentilled brickwork. The rear range was originally a single storey but was raised to two storeys in the early 19th century, retaining its original floor band and brick quoins at both ends, along with a plinth and a gable end stack. At the northern end, a 19th-century granary is attached, which is weatherboarded and has a slate hipped roof.
