Description
A barn and outbuildings, dating to the late 17th or early 18th century, stand adjoining Ayres End House. The barn is timber-framed and weatherboarded, with a plain tile roof. Two gabled porches face towards the house. A contemporary lean-to structure is situated between the porches, raised on later brick stilts. The interior comprises seven bays, featuring a double purlin roof. A brick and flint plinth is visible at the base of the building. Single-storey outbuildings adjoin the barn on the north-west side, dating to the late 19th century; these include a stable range, with some red brick walling.
