Public house, built as a semi detached pair of cottages. Early or mid C18. Extensive single storey additions circa 1970. Painted brick. Plain tile roof, the gable ends with internal chimney stacks. Moulded brick eaves cornice. 2 storeys and attics. 3 C20 casements to 1st floor in original C18 pegged wood frames; 3:2:3 lights, the centre one having partition wall to its mullion. Internally there are large inglenooks at each end, both with original curved staircases on their rear sides. Catslide roof rear projection.
