Description
The Fox Public House is a public house located on Luton Road in Kinsbourne Green. It was built in the late 18th century as a worker's cottage and became an inn in 1820. The building features a vitrified red brick casing over a two-bay timber frame on the left side, with a one-bay extension from around 1900 on the right made of mauve brick. It stands two storeys tall and has a weatherboarded lounge extension added in 1965 at the right end. The 18th-century section includes two three-light casement windows, with segmental heads on the ground floor. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has end chimney stacks. The central entrance door is accompanied by a porch dating from around 1900. Inside, the building has chamfered beams.
