Public House. Late C18, built as worker's cottage. Became an inn in 1820. Vitrified red brick casing to a 2-bay timber frame range on left. Circa 1900 1-bay extension on right in mauve brick. 2 storeys. 1965 weatherboarded lounge extension at right end. C18 part has 2 3-light casements, segmental-headed to ground floor. Plain tile roof with end chimney stacks. Central door with c.1900 porch. Interior with chamfered beams.
