Description

This is an early 18th-century house located on the southwest side of Luton Road in the rural parish of Harpenden, near Kinsbourne Green. The house has a renewed clay tile roof and gable ends with engaged chimney stacks built of red brick. The exterior is finished with roughcast rendering. It is two storeys high and features three leaded casement windows set in original openings. The central door is framed with pegged wood, and a modern door is present. An early 19th-century "County" fire insurance plaque is affixed above the door. A catslide roof extends from a rear projection, which is also timber-framed.
