Description

This is an early 18th-century house located in Harlesterne. It is constructed of regular coursed lias stone and originally had a thatched roof. The building follows a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front facade has a two-window range, featuring casement windows with leaded lights and wooden lintels. A central plank door is located beneath a wooden lintel, and a 20th-century porch now fronts the door. A central brick stack is present, and a 19th-century single-unit extension projects to the left, featuring a plain tile roof. At the rear, a similar extension has an eyebrow dormer. An inspection of the interior revealed an open fireplace in the left-hand room.
