Description
Old Raisins Farm is a mid-17th century farmhouse. The ground floor is red brick, while the upper floor is plastered with a partly exposed timber frame. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with a half-hipped section on the northwest end. The building originally comprised two units. The central section of the farmhouse contains a large stack on the rear elevation, and features a broad base with an ovolo cornice and a single angled shaft. The block to the right has close-set thin studwork. A red brick stack with five joined square shafts is also present. Four 19th and 20th century glazing bar casements are visible. Internally, the central bay exhibits chamfer-stopped floor beams.
