Description

A barn, dating from the later 18th century, stands at Hill Farm. It is a timber-frame structure with weatherboarding and a plain tile roof. Two gabled cart entrances are located on the east side, and these are flanked by a 19th-century lean-to addition. One lean-to has a slate roof that extends to the ridge. The barn has nine bays constructed with thin timbers. The roof is a double-purlin design; the upper purlins are clasped, while the lower ones have angled braces to tie beams.
