Description

Lys Eira is a large 17th century timber-framed house that has undergone alterations. It has two storeys and features three windows on the front facing the road. The house has a high-pitched tiled roof, which includes a playful 19th century belfry and early 17th century diagonal chimneys. The first floor is cement rendered, while the ground floor is painted brick. A central projecting gable has a jettied first floor. The house has modern casement windows and the entrance front, located on the south return, is tile hung on the first floor. There are three modern oriel bay windows. The entrance features an early 19th century round arched door with panelled reveals, a cornice head, and a decorative fanlight, along with a modern gabled porch.
