Description

Steeple Court is a 17th-century house that has been altered in later centuries, including the addition of early 19th-century Gothic details. It is two storeys high and has a double roof. The west front has an irregular arrangement of windows, with four on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The most prominent feature is two large, stepped chimney stacks that project forward. The roof is covered in old tiles, and the walls are constructed of red brick in English bond, with some areas colour-washed, and a high plinth. The windows are diamond-leaded lattice casements. A timber-framed porch with a four-centred arched doorway sits on a yellow brick base.
