Description

Nos 13 and 15 on High Street are two-storey buildings dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. They were likely originally one house but are now divided into two properties. The exterior features an exposed timber frame with a first floor that juts out, supported by a moulded beam and both straight and curved braces. Old photographs indicate that some alterations have been made. The eastern side has been modernized, and the buildings have a modern tile roof. A Tudor diagonal chimney stack is present. The upper floor has white-painted plaster infilling, while the ground floor is brick-nogged. Modern casement windows have been installed.
