Description

Mount Zion Evangelical Church is a brick building with painted stucco quoins and dressings, dating from 1865. It has a slate roof and a gable end facing the street. The front features three round-headed openings on the first floor. The church is two storeys high, with a wide double door set in a smooth stucco frame, topped by a heavy Greek-style bracketed cornice. Narrow casements are located on either side of the entrance. A stucco roundel is set into the gable.
