Description

Lark Cottage consists of two houses, with No 24 currently functioning as a shop. The buildings date from the 18th century and are constructed with a timber frame. No 24 features a reused stock brick facade from the 1970s, but it retains a rear gabled wing from the 17th or 18th century. No 26 has a restored early 19th-century front made of red brick, highlighted by dentilled brick eaves. Both houses have a plain tile roof and are two storeys high, each with two glazing bar casements. The casements of No 26 are adorned with red gauged brick lintels.
