Description

The building comprises a pair of late 17th or early 18th century timber-frame cottages originally forming a terrace. The facade is of painted brick with some exposed timber framing. It has a machine tile and plain tile roof, with two red brick ridge chimney stacks. The building is one and a half storeys high with two windows on each floor. The ground floor windows are late 19th century sashes with segmental heads. Paired dormers extend through the eaves, each containing 19th-century style casements. The east end wall was rebuilt following the demolition of an adjoining cottage.
