Description

This is one of six tombs located in the churchyard of St Mary and St Thomas in Old Knebworth. The tomb, dedicated to Marion Mackinnon Buchanan, dates from 1939 and is attributed to the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. It features a large slab made of Portland stone with a triangular head and an aperture that contains a cross. There is an inscription below the cross, with arisses inset on either side.
