Description

This is one of six tombs located in the churchyard of St Mary and St Thomas. It is a large raised tomb slab designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, dating from 1933. The tomb is made of Portland stone and features a single plain slab with a raised rectangular slab in the center. The central slab has a cross carved with a sword and includes a Roman-lettered inscription.
