Description

No. 25 on High Street is a 19th-century front added to an earlier timber-framed structure. The building features a red brick façade with a grey brick plinth, and it stands two storeys high. There is a first-floor band and angle pilasters. The roof is old and tiled, complete with a cornice and an early brick chimney stack that has three diagonal shafts. The ground floor has two casement windows with glazing bars and flat arches. The side elevations are cement rendered. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 11 (odd), 15, 19, 21, an outbuilding east of No. 21, 23, 23A, 29, 33, 35A, 37, 37B, 41A, 41B, 41, 43, 45, and 53 to 63 (odd).
