Description

The White Lion Public House is an early 19th century building that features a front added to an earlier structure. It is constructed of colour-washed brick with a Welsh slated roof behind a cornice and parapet. The building stands two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals, along with three ground floor canted bay windows. There is a recessed tiled wing on the right and a passageway on the left. The White Lion Public House is part of a group that includes the Council Buildings and several other properties in the vicinity.
