Description

This is a late 17th-century timber-framed workshop, part of a former maltings complex located immediately north of Number 46 (Baskerville Engineering) on Kimpton High Street. The building is in an L-shape and is single-storied. The walls are largely 18th-century and later brick, now painted. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The north and east gable ends display a clasped purlin roof structure. Late 19th-century half-timbering was added to the gable facing the road. A floor band is visible on the southeast side. The windows are late 19th-century sashes. Group value is evidenced by its association with the wider maltings range.
