Description
No. 24 High Street is a building dating from the 19th century. It has a stucco front and a steeply pitched, old tiled roof concealed behind a cornice and parapet. The building is three storeys high with five triple-light casement windows, each with a dripmould in a Tudor style. A Doric porch is situated on the ground floor, flanked by a pair of canted bay windows. A lower, earlier wing exists at the rear. The building forms part of a group with nearby properties and the wall in front of Wynne's Almhouses, and is situated near Nos. 46, 46A, and 48–52.
