Description

This is an 18th-century red brick manor house. The rainwater head on the south-east elevation bears the date 1728 and the initials MMM. The house is constructed with vertical flush bands of grey-blue brick, and has a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof behind a parapet and a moulded brick cornice. It is three storeys high, with six flush sash windows on each floor, with cutter flat arches and first-floor keyblocks. A two-storey central bay was added later, featuring a pediment with fluted volutes to the band and dentil cornice. The ground floor of this bay contains a round-arched porch. The interior retains the original staircase and some panelling.
