Description

No. 15 High Street is an 18th-century building, subject to later alterations. The front facade is constructed of red and grey brick in a chequered pattern, with a stuccoed side elevation. It has a Welsh slate roof with a bracketed cornice. The building is three storeys high, with a band marking the second floor. A modern shop window with glazing bars is located on the right side of the ground floor, and adjacent to it is a round-arched doorway. The upper floors contain three flush sash windows, each set beneath a cutter flat arch, with glazing bars on the right-hand side. A first-floor oriel bay window, also a flush sash, is centrally positioned. Nos. 1 to 11 (odd) including 15, along with numbers 19, 21, an outbuilding to the east of No 21, 23, 23A, 25, 29, 33, 35A, 37, 37B, 41A, 41B, 41, 43, 45 and Nos. 53 to 63 (odd) form a group. The building is of group value.
