Description

This is a late 18th-century terrace of houses on the High Street in Codicote. Numbers 92 to 96 incorporate a 17th-century timber frame core, visible in the chamfer-stopped floor beams with run-out stops. This section contains three doorways and windows, with the ground-floor openings featuring segmental heads. The windows are 19th-century casements. The exterior is of chequered red brick, with corbelled brick eaves and dentilled brick eaves on number 90. A ridge chimney stack, built of vitrified brick, is located between numbers 92 and 94. Number 90 is likely early 19th century and has a half-hipped roof with a single three-light casement window.
