Granary and 2 adjoining barns. E barn mid C17, granary at W early C18, middle barn C18 linking the earlier buildings. Timber frames on red brick sills, red brick ground floor to granary, dark weatherboarded, with steep old red tile roofs to road at rear but some corrugated sheeting on yard side of the barn roofs. Some red brick infill to yard side of barns. A 2-storeys square building at entrance to yard has the granary reached by ladder on S over a brick stable with stable door on W. Tall 4-bays E barn has entrance in 2nd bay from N to yard. Heavy jowled posts with long straight braces to wallplates and tie-beams. Clasped purlin roof with one purlin to each slope and heavy inclined queen-posts wider at their upper ends where they join the principal and hold the purlin in a notch. Face-halved bladed scarf joints over postheads. Lower middle barn has gabled projecting S porch to yard and very steep roof. Unjowled posts and clasped-purlin roof on trusses with collars.
